A brief look in the here and now - The TSWpat! of the present
Merger
After seven years of a shared journey as part of the TSWpat! Group, but still operating as independent companies, we have decided within the context of our 75th anniversary to simplify and strengthen the group structure. All the companies in the TSWpat! Group have been merged into the company with the longest history, Troesch Scheidegger Werner AG. Our ongoing collaborative work is now also represented legally.
Leadership team
From April 2026 on, we are pleased to announce that the leadership team of the TSWpat! Group has been further extended:
- Oliver Horlacher, M.Sc. ETH / Dr. Sc. ETH, European and Swiss Patent Attorney
Since January 2020, the leadership team of the TSWpat! Group has been extended by three new partners, all of them being well-known and already established in the TSWpat! group, namely:
- Brian Aeschlimann, M Law University of Zurich / LL.M. Duke University, Attorney at Law, Trademark Attorney ASPTA
- Alexandra Dieter, M.Sc. Chemie TU München / Dr. rer. nat. TU München, European and Swiss Patent Attorney, Registered Representative before the Unified Patent Court
- Thomas Speck, Dipl. Phys. ETH, European and Swiss Patent Attorney, Registered Representative before the Unified Patent Court
With the present extension and rejuvenation of the team of partners, we are able to pursue the continuous and long-term support of our clients in the field of intellectual property rights in a sustainable way.

TSWpat! Troesch Scheidegger Werner AG (Zumikon/Zurich and Lucerne)
Dr. Oliver Horlacher becomes partner of Swiss IP Partners Holding AG.
Troesch Scheidegger Werner AG will continue to provide consulting services to its clients through its branch office in Lucerne. Clients of the Sargans branch will now be served directly from the headquarters.
Troesch Scheidegger AG establishes a branch office in Lucerne and continues to operate its office in Sargans to continue serving its clients of the former TSWpat Luzern AG and OK pat Ltd.
In form of a merger Troesch Scheidegger Werner AG takes over its partner companies OK pat Ltd., TSWpat Luzern AG and Patentanwaltsbureau Jean Hunziker AG.
75 years TSWpat! - Within this anniversary it was decided to simplify the previous company structure.
Brian Aeschlimann, Dr. Alexandra Dieter and Thomas Speck become partners of Swiss IP Partners Holding AG.
Swiss IP Partners Holding AG acquires Troesch Scheidegger Werner AG. This company acts as managing partner of the TSWpat! Group, consisting of Troesch Scheidegger Werner AG, OK pat AG, TSWpat Luzern AG and Patentanwaltsbureau Jean Hunziker AG.
Adrian Rappold becomes a partner of Troesch Scheidegger Werner AG. He assumes the assignments of the retired Dr. Hans Scheidegger.
The firm moves its head office from Zurich-Oerlikon to Zumikon.
André Werner, son of Georges Werner, joins Troesch Scheidegger Werner AG as partner. Dr. Hans Troesch retires as patent attorney.
The company, continuing as Scheidegger, Werner & Co, merges with Dr. Troesch AG. Together these companies form Troesch Scheidegger Werner AG (TSWpat!).
Georges Werner joins Scheidegger, Zwicky & Co. as partner.
Dr. Hans Scheidegger jun. takes over the office of his father and continues its operations with his partner Heinrich Zwicky under the firm Scheidegger, Zwicky & Co.
Dr. Hans Troesch establishes his patent attorney firm. His son Dr. Jacques Troesch joins Dr. Troesch AG shortly after its establishment.
Dr. Hans Scheidegger sen. establishes an office for Intellectual Property in Zurich.
