Career and experience

Gregor Kurt Rössling is a European Patent Attorney specializing in the technical fields of mechanical engineering, plasma physics, solid state physics and materials science.

Gregor Kurt Rössling has worked for Troesch Scheidegger Werner AG in Zumikon since January 2025.

Already during his diploma thesis, he supported the team of a patent law firm in Munich and became increasingly enthusiastic about the field of intellectual property law due to the variety of activities it encompasses and, not least, the career prospects it offers. His work at the Federal Institute for Materials Research and Testing (BAM) in Berlin, also during his studies, enabled him to embark on a career as a patent attorney immediately after graduating as a physicist.

After completing his vocational training in Berlin as a state-certified (DE) physical-technical assistant, Gregor Kurt Rössling studied physics at the Humboldt University of Berlin and the Ludwig Maximilian University Munich (2004-2011), specializing in plasma physics and solid-state physics/material sciences, as well as medical physics as part of his diploma thesis, in particular the dosimetry of proton radiation in the application context of radiation oncology.

He then completed his training as a German and European patent attorney at a law firm in Duisburg, the German Patent and Trademark Office, the German Federal Patent Court and patent litigation senates of the Higher Regional Courts of Düsseldorf and Munich (2012-2016).

From 2016 to 2024, he worked as a patent attorney in an international IP law firm in Munich and represented an international clientele before the German Patent and Trademark Office, the European Patent Office, the German Federal Patent Court and the European Union Intellectual Property Office.
